FAAB Higher Degree Research students actively contribute to the research program through research, testing, and preparation of project reports and publications. The expertise required for the projects range from chemistry and analytical science to microbiology and biotechnology.

A key focus of the FAAB student training programme is building and developing research experience, knowledge, and professional development. Each student has a nominated research supervisor with expertise relevant to their project from the University as well as a nominated supervisor from within the relevant Industrial Partner who provides guidance and business context.
